Professional training for future clowns

The professional training courses offered by the Faculty of Clown Art enable students to discover and develop their skills and expertise in the art of clowning, in line with the values advocated by the Fondation Dr Clown.
Each of the 4 stages of the professional course lasts 4 consecutive days. An application is required for admission to Clown 1, and you can complete the entire course at your own pace.

Anyone with experience in the performing arts. You must send us an artistic CV so that we can assess your eligibility for the career path.

Clown 2 programming

CLOWN 3
The meeting; the complicity
Working in partnership develops presence, listening skills and openness. The other person feeds the game and allows you to highlight your own singularity through complicity.

Successful completion of Clown 1 and 2

Clown 3 programming

CLOWN 4
Momentum and risk
Taking risks means embracing the unknown with joy and lightness. It’s about gaining momentum, jumping and enjoying the free fall.

Successful completion of Clown 1, 2 and 3

Frequently asked questions

What are the admission criteria for vocational training?
To be eligible for the professional pathway, you must have experience in arts performings (e.g. theater, improvisation or clown). Sending us your artistic CV will give us an overview of your experience and enable us to direct you towards the most appropriate career path for you.
What is an artistic CV?
The artistic CV is a short of your curriculum vitae (CV) targetant only your professional backgrounds dart field. You must include any experience or training linked to the performing arts.
How long does it take to analyze applications?
Two à five working days to analyze your application. A reply (positive or negative) is then sent by e-mail.
How do I apply?
